33025 Glen Falloch

What is the status of the above loco..? The 33 used to be called "Sultan" when it worked on the southen region.

It's listed as "active" with West Coast Railways, but I don't think it gets used all that often, but I have seen it about a few times.

Interesting name..........I think it was Wordsworth who described Glen Falloch as the "Vale of Awful Sound".

An 8LDA28 doesn't sound that bad

It's a bit obtuse having a class 33, two of them in fact, named after Scottish Glens! Even more bizarre was when they were turning up on the Royal Scotsman around the Highland lines.
