35018 had its first main line test run today.
I saw that yesterday as I was waiting for the Snug to open on Carnforth station. It looks really good.
Er, why is it carrying the nameplate Bodmin, a West Country Class ??????????
As it is in an unlined black livery they will probably be painting it again now that the initial trials have been completed - it would just look nicer with the Bodmin plates temporarily on, than with nothing?
Very nice to see it finally restored though - well done to all involved.
Galatea's first test run(s) were with Leanders nameplates, it's probably just another wind up.
