Around 6pm yesterday, the distinct growl of the class 37 EE engine going for gold passed by my flat,making my 5 month old daughter give a quizzical look!
There's been a fair amount of trackwork recently, and I was wondering if it was hauling dynamometer and track assessment coaches?

PLPR - Plain Line Pattern Recognition

My guess is that the OP is talking about the Edinburgh Suburban line, but it would be nice to know, as Google comes up with telecoms stuff!
