It was brought up from Cardiff by 50049 (at least as far as Kidderminster) the other week. Is it one of those that used to be in Spain, they were light blue weren't they?
*It seems to be owned by the same people as own 50031/035/044, so maybe it's going to be returned to service.

37308 never went to Spain, it was part of EWS' small pool of heritage locos between about 2002 and 2005 and was repainted into BR blue, having previously carried the identity 37274 and Mainline Freights' aircraft blue livery prior to its' celebrity status.

At present the loco is actively undergoing restoration and is painted in a blue primer base coat.

The Spanish 37s did indeed receive a light blue livery that was basically a two-tone blue version of the EWS livery.
