Heres a kinda rough list of whos out of the 442 fleet.

2402 Smashed Windscreen - Bournemouth
2409 Wheel Bearing Fault - Bournemouth
2413 (77423 only) - Smashed Windscreen. Bournemouth
2415 Smashed Windscreen - Bournemouth.
2418 (77399, 71835, 62954 & 71859 only) Traction Motor problems - Bournemouth

Hope this list does help peeps out.
I expect the list to grow somewhat by January 13th.

Considering there are currently 11 444's & 3 or 4 450's stuck in Fratton depot I wouldnt be surprised if we get to see 2421.

I beleive 2421 is inside the depot shed to stop Graffiti artisits attacking it over the christmas period. Most of the Waterloo - Weymouth diagrams today what I saw were worked by Pigs, although the Poole - Waterloo and Waterloo - Poole were being worked by Desiros. On Saturday the Poole - Waterloo that leaves after the 14:40ish trasin gets in was worked by 2 450's. First time I have seen that worked.

There could be a chance of seeing 2421, unless they take out one of the broken windscreen pigs. With a ED on the broken window cab as i think 201 is at bomo

These old pigs are life expired
Scrap these things!
As you can see from the faults they have acquired
The metal would be better as springs

By that sense, 37s should be withdrawn first.

From a passenger's point of view it will be sad to see them go. When you look at them it's not the units that are overly old and "expired", it's the traction equipment underneath.

I must agree with your philosophy,
The REP motors are tired,
If it was all up to me,
The 442s would be far from expired

From a passenger point of view MOI, im guan miss the first Class compartments, that was the best bit, being able to be private, still i will be booking the last day of school so i can give em a good send off!!

The coaches are only 18 years old, so if u say there tired then in that case all the other Mk3s over the netowrk should be withdrawn and scrapped??? Yes the Traction equipment is old but it still goes, the 455s have even older Traction Equipment in them and there getting refurbished!!!

Nice to see your attitude
The purpose of this thread was to highlight the calamities in the fleet?
Though it can be negatively construed,
My real opinion I care to repeat;
