Whilst some deluded fools continue to chase 67s powered by GM710 rubbish, far better diesels in the number series can be found just across the channel...

Long(ish) trains of high quality stock, classic formations, decent linespeeds and aggressive driving make for a great day up and down the Atlantic Coast on IC turns. They might not be the most inspiring diesels in Europe - but very real bashing. Even had a failure with 67542 throwing in the towel en-route, just like the UK ones like to do!

We then headed over to the Rhone-Alps region to spin around Lyon and head to Grenoble where earlier 67s are just about hanging on to a few diagrams under the wires, but on paper at least really can't last much longer.
