Think it's been a 70 all week. The empty working from Runcorn to Bredbury which passes by here in the earlier hours of the morning has proceeded to disturb my sleep most nights since these beasts took over, sounds not unlike a Deltic storming up the bank from Heaton Norris Junction in the dead of the night lol!

You must of misread the number there isn't a 70022 70020 is the highest numbered of the freightliner fleet.

Obviously in this case, sorry about that. There have been a few in the yard of late (maybe the same one)?

I'll be on a pushbike tomorrow, so will take a photograph if there is one about.

2 x 11 = 22. If you’d had a few the night before perhaps you were seeing double ?

No 70 this morning, only 66,545 (at 08.15).

I also noticed at least one unidentified 86 at 17.00 last night, couldn't tell if there was a pair though.
