There was a bad one in 88 that killed 56 people. The driver of the train in the platform stayed in his cab to warn people to get off before being hit by a runaway train.

Clapham crash the following December - I should have been the guard on the next Bournemouth train behind the one that crashed. Thankfully I took 3 weeks accumulated leave off for Xmas.
