I'm looking to photograph the S-Stock moves from Derby to Old Dalby and have found the timings here and the scheduled days that it runs here.

What I would like to know is what are the chances of the service running every day it is scheduled to? Or is it a thing of 'they'll go when there ready'?

Cheers,
Matt

The running days each week depend entirely on the release schedule
of new S-stock trains from Derby.

The past three weeks it has run FO, SO and MTO, so you need to have
a lot of luck/patience!!

Did you read the previous post? The schedule is here but each week it could run on any of those days, Open Train Times is not stating which of those days it will run, just which days the path exists.

but not sure what time its passing acocks green
But surely you have seen the timings if you looked it up on Open Train Times (as already posted by Harbon 1)? In which case, what makes you think it is passing Acocks Green?

Acocks Green is on a different line! It's between Solihull and Tyseley. If a train is booked to take that route, then passing times will be given for Solihull and Tyseley so you would then be able to estimate the time for Acocks Green.

Add on about two minutes from the Tyseley time or take some off the Bentley Heath Crossing time.

I think there is some confusion here between 7X23,
which runs from Derby to Old Dalby and is booked to run
on Tuesday* 14/02 and 7X09 which runs from Old Dalby
to Amersham (via Acocks Green!!!) and is booked to run
on Wednesday 15/02.

* there is also a 7X23 booked to run on Friday 17/02,
but I am told that one is expected to run during the night,
I'm afraid...

Did you read my post? I clearly added, at the top, that it was Down for Tuesday this week.

I wasn't responding to your post, I was informing james66414 that his claim that Open Train Times said it was "booked for Monday" was incorrect, it was only stating that a path exists.

I make no comment about which day it will run as I do not know, but will of course take your word for it and I am not in any way challenging that!
