Due to the great Hilsea signal fiasco my train into Waterloo up the Portsmouth direct was cancelled, in fact the next train to stop at my station was 3 1/2 hrs later than the train I tried to catch.
By this time I'd long given up and gone home.
Now here is the question, what can I claim back from SWR on my (paper) season ticket?The delay repay form, which I've used 8 times so far which considering I've only been into London 12 days does seem a lot, but I digress. The form only has an option for cancelled and caught next service. Not cancelled and abandoned journey.
Any ideas or do you think SWR figure they only pay out if you actually get on the train?
