Victoria Sidings? Honestly, never heard of them
Not used since the late 80's maybe early 90's, recall having ballast trains in there.

Is the single pan restriction a temporary one? Is some fix required to the pantographs or Overhead line equipment to allow 2 pantographs to be raised? Clearly Class 317, 321 and 360's are all allowed 2 pantographs up for the full length of the route.755's now cleared for Somerleyton Bridge, and can run with one pan raised Liverpool Street - Norwich, allowed 2 pans up Stowmarket to Trowse
I seem to recall mention of 2 engines around the 750bhp mark ie 1500 bhp which should be enough to shift these things around the Wireless sections of Anglia I would have thought.

What is the current betting we will see a 755 or two running the Norwich in 90? I would have thought these units should have been accepted by now to make that happen?
Easily achievable Swills mate when you've got the right people on duty & a clear runThink that is the plan, if not will be a Hauled set which it has to be said did 'Norwich to London in 100' the other day, and that included 4 stops en route

No, just defective vehicles locked out of use. 17:50 can be full & standing with a load 9 so makes sense to remove Colchester from the calling pattern. The 15:30 up and 17:50 back were today advertised as 6 coach’s no First Class. Shortened set as a prelude to May perhaps?

Norwich LL?
How many miles need to be accumulated before trains can start entering service?
Norwich LL?
Low Level aka Royal Dock aka c/sdgs....
I was going to ask that myself. If you get much lower down than Norwich Thorpe station, the train crew would need sub-aqua breathing apparatus!

i think about 500 or so miles
Not a Flirt on diesel it’ll be needing a drink before then!!Must be more than that (a lot more) ? 500 miles is barely half a days work for a unit
For the Hitachi 385s it was 2000 miles fault free running for acceptance.Must be more than that (a lot more) ? 500 miles is barely half a days work for a unit
Every unit though, or just the first? From my recollection the first unit is given a more stringent target as it's assumed that is sufficient to demonstrate the units are sufficiently reliable, the 500 miles for subsequent units simply to prove they don't have any major unit-specific defects out of the box, rather than waste energy / fuel running 2000 miles of testing for each unit, which rapidly adds up to a vast amount of mileage on big fleets. For the Hitachi 385s it was 2000 miles fault free running for acceptance.
Not sure if the requirement for the FLIRT bi-modes is 2000 total, in each mode or some other figure.
