Received a mailing from Hertfordshire Rail Tours today. As part of Darlington Community Rail Festival on Sept 23rd/24th, HRT are running some shuttles from Darlington to Boulby. There are 2 trips on the Sunday (1st dep 10.00/back 14.00, 2nd dep 14.15/back 18.15 - all times approx), with no specific types of loco promised, though they will no doubt be from the FM fleet. Fare is a reasonable £15 adult, £10 junior.
There is also one trip on the Saturday (12.45 out/16.45 back), though that trip is mainly reserved for people travelling on the Blue Pullman charter from KX that day, though it says a few places may be available for local bookings.

I'm up for this!

The price is a lot more than last year, but it was ridiculously cheap last year so we can't complain too much! ;)

Bookings for GNER open any day now!!!

This meet can be done very cheaply, even from London with those £9.50 GNER tickets, but be warned - the cheapest tickets sell out on the most popular trains on the day they go on sale.

Fill in this form: http://fs3.emv2.com/uk/gner/join/webform.html to be notified when they go on sale.

This is likely to be a very big forum meet... !
