I wasn't aware of this working, I only knew of the Daventry - Mossend flows. Do you know how often it runs and where does it change the loco? I assume the latter is Bescot. Oh how I already miss the days of OTT covering freight...

Runs daily (Mon-Fri) and changes loco (and therefore reverses) at Bescot,
as you assumed.

The return is 4S25 Hams Hall to Mossend, which runs overnight,
and was the train which 'ran away' on Shap in 2010:

Mark at Freightmaster has beat me to it, I believe it does change loco at Bescot. This is a very regular working,occasionally late but always seems to run, its due Bescot around 17:15 Mon - Fri. Thanks for your comment on the pictures.
