Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5

    Hi Folks,

    Just out of interest does anyone use the above software, and if so is it worth having?. I'm half tempted to get it myself but would like to hear others views.

    Do you predominately shoot raw or jpg?

    Mainly RAW, although I do shoot jpg sometimes :)

    I use it and I'd say go for it. It's not a magic tool that guarantees you excellent results but it's very good at recovering detail if your shot isn't exposed quite right.

    Yep. It's got tools and settings for pretty much everything.

    You should be able to get a 30 day full free trial if you download it from Adobe or similar.

    Before you buy Lightroom, have a look at Nikon's View NX and Capture NX-D. The later is quite a competent RAW convertor and both will give you the very best Nikon colour profiles and rendition. Best of all, both are free!
