Hi all 8 of us are returning from Glasgow on Sunday 15th May we have advance tickets booked on the 15:38pm to Carlisle then 1757pm Dalesrail from Carlisle to Blackburn , I have asked Northern if it will still be RRB from Carlisle -Appleby they said the RRB is until Saturday 14th May and to keep checking in next week or 2 to see if the line reopens or not

If it does not reopen what's the status with our advance tickets?

Thanks in advance for any help as usual it's much appreciated

On the basis of the current timetable, a RRB would leave Carlisle at 1730, giving ample time for the connection. If that isn't provided, you are entitled to be transported to your destination.

Question is, by whom and by what route? Would it be Northern and then taxis from Hellifield (or Skipton, more sensibly)?
