Advenza freight was formed in 2001 and went bust in 2009. At some stage they reputedly purchased 66406-10 from DRS and re-numbered 66841-845. These were acquired by Colas Rail after Advenza's collapse. However, I have only ever seen photos of 841-844 and according to records, Advenza only had four 66's. No mention of 845. Did this ever go there ? Info much appreciated. The five locos went to GBRf eventually as 66742-46.

Have a look at the ‘Class 66 photos’ thread on the rmweb website. Some April 2016 posts mention 66845 and include a 2010 photo which shows that it remained in DRS plain blue but with square Colas logos added to the cabside ends. It never gained the Advenza livery.

They weren't purchased from DRS as DRS didn't own them. Leased from Porterbrook as I understand it.

Many thanks for that. Explains my query perfectly.
