In the Wikipedia article on the Newcastle and Carlisle Railway it states there were two stations between Haydon Bridge and Hexham which were named Allerwash and Warden with both closing in 1837.
Can anyone have any other information confirming the opening and closing dates in reference books such as "Railway Stations, halts and stopping places" written by either R.V.Butt or Michael Quick.
The information will be used to substantiate or correct that in Wikipedia.
Thanks

In Quick's Chronology:
Allerwash [NC] opened 28 June 1836, 'prob clo about start January 1837'
Warden [NC] line opened 28 June 1836 (no date for station), 'probably closed about end of 1836 or very early 1837'.

Discussion of the latter is apparently made in the July 1997 edition of the RCHS Journal.

According to the same source, Allerwash was just west of Fourstones; Warden just east.
