I've been paying £25 for Avanti + Avanti + Avanti advances from Euston to Glasgow with a railcard through trainsplit, journey time 5 hours 45 with recovery/ pint time at Preston. If GC are undercutting that they won't last long.
I don’t think your profile of travel is necessarily what a TOC is looking at when setting its fares to optimise its revenue though.

Ive paid that price for one advance London to Glasgow with railcard

We have also paused, until early 2021, the preparations for our new Blackpool to London Euston services....

Reads as though the driver training will start up again early next year, so they must be aiming to start passenger service with the May 21 timetable change date.

This would however mean that they'd be starting service when the big HS2 possessions at Euston are beginning to kick in...
