AMEC are to hire Clas 57/3's to run timber traffic to Chirk - from wnxx.com

AMEC 57s...
57314 (ATTB) worked a rake of IGA bogie flat wagons north, as 6Z57, from Bescot to Carlisle today. This is believed to be in connection with the forthcoming hire of 57/3s by AMEC who now have the contract to move timber to Chirk. Driver training in the North Wales area utilising 57308 had been underway just prior to Christmas.
Good to see a new freight operating company and the 57/3's getting more use

Are AMEC still interested in using FMU's for timber trafic?
