I have an East Coast advance ticket from York - London today at 11.00 bought at the station. I now need to change it to travel out later instead. Am I too late to change it if I can go to the station now? Or do I need a new ticket? Are the rules different if bought online? Thanks

If you go to the station before your train has departed then you should be able to upgrade it to the cheapest walk-up fare for the new time you want to travel (if travelling today) + a £10 administration fee.

If you go to the station after your train has departed, your ticket is officially worthless.
