Hello,

Last week I was in London and I've just been completing my notes.
I have a few things that you folks might be able to help me with.

Firstly when going past Old Oak Common I noted 08836 and what I wrote down as 08863. No such 08 exists so I begs the Question, what 08 was it?
I see that 08843 is another 08 at Old Oak. Is she the only other 08 besides 836?

I wrote that whilst at Victoria I saw 377513. Surely not. Did I write wrong thing. Time was 8pm ish.

Lastly again passing Old Oak common I saw a warship. Too far away for number. It was a sort of gold colour.

Thanks

Bodie

Can't help with the '08 or Warship but was the 377 green or purple?

If it was purple, then 377.513 is plausible as FCC (sorry TSGN) do work out of Vic in the peak.

If the 377 was green then you may have seen 377.413 or 377.613 - or even 377.113, 377.213 or 377.313... Take your pick

Hope this of some use

It should have been an 8 car working. Basically as GTR/FCC & SE have joint services, SE borrow 6x 377 from Thameslink daily (until December).

There's two possible workings it could have been at that time.

Diagrams 603/604
2K86 19:39 Rochester to Victoria 20:36
5K86 20+45 Victoria to Grosvenor Shed

Or

Diagrams 620/621
5K54 18+45 Rochester to Victoria 19+43
2N74 20:37 Victoria to Ashford

Guessing the latter from your timings.

According to abrail the only two 08's at Old Oak are 644 and 836. Anyone confirm?

Must be D821 at Old Oak. I mean how many warships can there in one place.
Is it possible I saw it minus it's maroon paint?

You learn something new everyday. Did not know 377/5's worked to Victoria. Can't remember colour. It was the end of a long day. Anyway I was mainly sighting stuff head on, as the barriers were in the way of most trains. Could well have been if I was only able to front end.

Thanks

There is only one warship at Old Oak, especially when only two remain (D832 being the other IIRC)

According to Shunterspot there are 2 shunters at Old Oak - 08663 and 08836.

08483 is shown as being at RVEL Derby and 08644 is shown as being at Laira.
