The train IN platform 19? Interesting image conjurs in my mind there...

Just had another crazy idea...Will reveal elsewhere when I do it...

Anyway, I'll have a crack at it, although I'd a tad tired with a touch of a cold at the moment, so my voice will not be brilliant, still audible.

Recorded, again the problem of no MP3 conversions software currently, will try and get some shortly.

No closing date for entries?

1288gaje, I don't think you get the idea... you do the announcer how it is written, not from a random station en-route!

Tom your competition is not without fault, how can you get from Winchester to Salisbury then to Southampton Central?

I accidentally put in Winchester (but in reality, technically this could happen if they put the various rail links in...)

This service needs a couple of reversals and would take a long time ;)

BTW the Salisbury error reminded me.

Someone had a VV14 to Salisbury and was not valid on the VT they got (to Bristol) so the conductor said they have to issue an excess fare to bristol.

For some odd reason the passenger wanted it done to Salisbury (you can get any connecting train anyway so they asked to pay more!)

Even more oddly the conductor then said "ok, I'll issue it to SAINSBURY, that'll be £30." before correcting herself "I mean Salisbury" (which she pronounced as 'Sailsbrey')

Sounds about right for the pronounciation, I've not heard anyone say it differently.

To call it originally Sainsbury is humourous!
