20200605_235154.jpgFriday 5th June.

With a Few hours before work I took the camera out for a socially distanced trainspotting adventure.

Highlights were GWR 57 on stock move and T&T cola 67s on network rail train. Few HSTs and a tamper but mainly GWR 800s.

Not a lot going on these days so was good to get out the house when not working.

Brilliant few hours at Minehead Railway Station.
I saw your photos on the West Somerset thread and it looked like a great day out actually.
What were the 20s doing in the photo above Anthony?

How we all doing?

Yes alright really. Obviously not able to get out on the railway much so no diesel galas to visit and sadly very few railtours passing us over the last year, but I’ve always got my model railway to mess around with.
How about you mate?

Finally a rail trip booked. First in a very long time. A ride up the Mule to Waterloo from Exeter.

Afternoon all.

About time I caught up on trip reports etc. Not had much haulage but certainly a lot of railway related days out.

A lot to update with so please bear with while I try remember what I've done over the last few months.

Lets start with today and work backwards....
---------------------------------
27/12/22

In what little spare time I have; I organise vintage Vehicle Road Runs which stop at various transport related places.

Todays outing was a car journey to visit the Tarka Valley Railway at Torrington (North Devon) as a possible stop for a run next year.

Although I've driven past a few times it's been a while since I've had chance to stop.

They've recently acquired a GWR 143 Pacer in order to hopefully start passenger rides in 2023 on the very short track.

That’s actually quite nice to see the Pacer there.
