Nice 2 hours at WSR gala after work. Back 2moro for Deltic haulage.

I managed to make it today. Currently behind the 20s between Washford and Blue Anchor which are running at 10 mph and missing stops out because of wheelflats on the brake van.
The Western has damaged transmission and isn’t running either.
Great run behind the Peak earlier.

Sadly Personal illness has kept me indoors this weekend, meaning missing Weston super mare airshow and both the class 50s to Penzance on Saturday and yesterday’s English Riviera Express rail tour with Bulleid 34052.

Bodmin railway for 50042 haulage, with class 57 back to Plymouth, Plymouth armed forces day with boat trip to dockyard to see warships and HMS ocean before it goes to Brazil navy and Sikorsky S92 demo with lifeboat, then Paignton to see hopefully 6023 (blue king) if in steam.

After a stressful day at work I made the short journey by rail to Exeter st David’s to photography 37424 *37558 Avro Vulcan* stabled in platform 2 with inspection coach Caroline.

Love 37s especially large logo BR blue.

I’ll be in Exmouth painting by then unfortunately.
There seems to be a TSR at Cowley Bridge at the moment due to the work that was done on the culvert just north of the Junction, so stuff going northbound seems to be going past ours quite slowly at the moment.

I’m probably going to the G&WSR for their diesel gala on the 6th.
Not so bothered about the 50 gala although I hope it’s a big success.
