SOT-MAN
CDR = £9.50
FOR = £26.80

SOT-BHM
CDR = £8.80
FOR = £48.00

Both pretty similar journies. Anybody see:

a) A reason for the massive difference in FOR prices?
b) The reason why MAN is a more expensive CDR but cheaper FOR and BHM a cheaper CDR but more expensive FOR?

It might be down to who has set the pricing, SOT - BHM is set by Virgin Cross Country and SOT - MAN is set by Northern.

I already assumed that the reasons were partially due to different TOCs having the ruling say when it comes to price setting, just wondered if there was any logical (or even remotely sensible) reason for the differences mentioned.
