I've had a play with, but not fired, an FIDF AUG, nice feeling rifle. Mag release seems a bit awkward, but nothing you couldn't get used to. Same spec as the Irish DF, with the top rail and SUSAT.

A few more I've played with/scrutinised /started training on but not actually fired:

MP5K
UMP9
Couple extra models of HK416 series
AUG (as above)
C7A2 - the Elcan is a nice sight, if a little fragile apparently
FN Minimi Para
R4 (South African Galil, the only weapon I've seen that throws brass further than an H&K roller locked design)

I have shot before - oddly enough, once at the Dunblane club which later was frequented by Thomas Hamilton. However incidents such as Dunblane have put me off the sport completely.
