    Hi everyone,
I am about to start as a trainee train driver next month. Unfortunately, southeastern doesn't give parking permit to trainees. As I live in Essex, I have no other option other than use my car. I did spoke to recruitment and was advised to have a chat with my manager when I start training.
I am currently thinking of using car upto dartford and then travel by train for which they have given me a pass.
Does anyone know any cheaper parking space or even free:).
I currently have found out a parking for £60 monthly just 10 min walk from the station.
Any help and advise would be much appreciated.
    Thanks :)

I think £60 a month is pretty good. Pretty hard to find anything cheaper, Unless you park quite far away from the station.

There's an industrial estate (Riverside Way) 10/15 minutes away it does get busy but it is free. I have not been there for a while though so that might have changed.

    Evening,

Did you use that email I sent you ? Have you asked at Dartford Depot as they do have a staff car park.

There are a few side roads pretty close to the station that are free.

Theres a parking app that you can get and you can search for nearest spaces available.
