Anyone know much about lenses

I have the Nikon equivalent, that being a 70 - 300 its a good lens which on full zoom requires steady hands! Im very pleased with some of the results, so i'd highly recommend the Canon you are looking at!

It's an L series lens which probably means the quality is going to be excellent. A friend of mine uses it (or something very similar) and gets good results.
