Sometimes when purchasing advances for a specific GwR service they include the clause any reasonable connecting GwR service to xxx station.

For example an advance from Hayes would allow you to get on any train to Reading that allows you to get your timed advance from Reading to say Bristol Temple Meads.

When TfL rail tales over the inner suburban lines between Reading and London Paddington are you going to be able to use those advance ticket connections on TfL rail.

Would it be any difference from Advances the 'other side' e.g. Norwich to Gidea Park: http://www.brfares.com/#faredetail?orig=NRW&dest=GDP&rte=420&tkt=OS1

Yes, a lot of the cheapest advance fares on the western side are currently GWR only. There are also fares routed AP Not London
http://www.brfares.com/#!fares?orig=HAN&dest=EXD

eg
http://www.brfares.com/#faredetail?orig=HAN&dest=EXD&rte=820&tkt=W2X is £15 routed Great Western only
http://www.brfares.com/#faredetail?orig=HAN&dest=EXD&rte=820&tkt=W2Y is £19 routed Great Western only
http://www.brfares.com/#faredetail?orig=HAN&dest=EXD&rte=415&tkt=W2Y is £20 routed AP Not London

I note that on the East Coast line, the cheapest AP tickets are valid on other operators at the Northern end but explicitly not valid on Thameslink / Great Northern, presumably to avoid people specifying a GTR train to Peterborough and getting a quota north from there at a cheaper fare.
