The sale is back on, up to 40% off up to 02/01/21. Now is a great time to upgrade the stuff DTG brings out!

Thanks for sharing - I'll take a look and see what I like the look of. AP packs are almost always good, even better if on offer!

If you don't already have it, I can particularly recommend the 150/2. Not only does it offer a good variety of liveries with suitability for many routes, but the sounds are particularly fantastic in my opinion (I've not tried the 150/1 Enhancement, but I presume that's similar).

The /1 is pretty good too. The default DTG is a really nice model, but the sounds and physics were awful.

As the /1 is only an enhancement lack it won’t be quite as full fledged as the /2 though. I also highly recommend the 156 pack too if you’re into DMUs.

Thanks for the heads up. Steam also has a sale on so I got two routes as well. MML (London - Bedford) and Western Lines of Scotland along with the AP 375/377 and 156 packs.

I'll look into those as well - thanks :) The 156 has been on my radar for a while now.

I would also recommend the Armstrong Powerhouse Track Pack too - vastly improves the look, especially some of the older routes like the WCML.
I'll second this - it works wonders on loads of routes.

Thanks for remining me about the track pack. I do have that one just not re-downloaded it for a long time. The 156 I do recommend as I quite enjoyed my almost 3 hour run the other night with it.

I got the 321 pack and 170 enhancement during that sale and now I wanna buy more AP stuff (I got my eyes on the 150/2, 158 (Cummins), 175, 319 Part 1, 377 EP and MTU HST) but I want an idea of how long I may be waiting for the next sale cos 40% is quite a significant reduction given the prices of each pack!

I believe there's a sale at Easter, maybe summer, Hallowe'en and Christmas. As their products are premium, it's well worth "stocking" up on the sales. Only thing I have bought at full price was the 411/2 when it came out - it looked so good on YT, and I couldn't wait!

I have my eye on the 317 and 319 for the next sale.

Those interested in AP products may wish to look at this in the next sale (or before, £4.99 is quite a good price):

Armstrong Powerhouse presents a sound pack for wagons with old-style bogies. Before the advent of 'low track force' bogies in the 1990s, this was the classic heavy and loud sound of a bogied wagon.

Further to Peter's post above, it's also worth noting that existing owners of the BAA, JHA, JXA and TDA packs can redownload those from their account page and the wagons in those packs will now utilise sounds from this new pack, even without buying the new pack.

I just bought that old wagon sound pack, the TDA-D toilet roll tankers, and sprung for an EMU too, despite there being no sale.
