It is in between Five Ways and University. About a 10 minute walk from University Station. If you turn left out of University station and then left again down on to the canal keep walking, you will go through one bridge and the next bridge after has steps to get off the canal. I was on those steps but the fence there is fairly low so you can stan on the tow path as well

...its from the steps off Somerset Road dropping onto the canal. Its visible in this phot... http://www.redcow.fotopic.net/p29770278.html
Approx 10mins (if that) walk from University station heading back towards Five Ways/Birmingham.

This phot is also in the area, ten minutes further along the canal towards Five Ways, immediatly next to Church Rd tunnel.
