    Hello there everyone,

My name's Anmar and I'm a writer putting together a story on people who do very long daily commutes into London and how our travelling habits have changed over the years.

I'm hoping to speak to people at length about their experiences of travelling on trains - good or bad - and get a real feel for what it's like to do a huge commute into London Monday to Friday.

In terms of distance, I'm looking at anywhere north of Derby - so places like Manchester, Crewe, Leeds, Doncaster etc - or west of Swindon i.e. Bristol, Bath etc.

If you do such a commute - or know anyone who might - and would like a bit more detail, please do just get in touch with me by sending a PM.

Any questions please let me know!

    Anmar
