I’m new to this forum, so apologies if this is an issue that has been covered in previous threads.
Essentially I am trying to work out whether a season ticket between Ashford International and Gatwick Airport routed via “London Not Und” is valid via HS1 to/from St Pancras International.
The reason for the query is that this ticket is currently priced at £131.80 for a Standard 7 day season ticket, whereas a Standard 7 day season ticket from Ashford International to London Terminals is currently priced at £138.60 (Not valid on HS1) and £166.40 (plus high speed) - both of which are more than the Standard 7 day season ticket from Ashford International to Gatwick Airport via London.
Could the Ashford International to Gatwick Airport via London ticket be used to commute between Ashford International and St Pancras International, or would the fare anomoly render the ticket invalid? The fare difference between the Ashford International to Gatwick Airport via London season ticket and the more expensive Ashford International to London Terminals plus High Speed season ticket seems substantial (£34.60 for 7 days, £1,384 for an annual).
