Started off August with a trip to Water Orton, to see 47787 and 851 on the Skeggy ECS, and the various AXC HSTs.

Also went to Kingsbury for 60040 on the tanks, seen arriving and reversing into the terminal.

Finished the day off with 66193 on UK Railtours' return "The Heart of Wales Line" railtour, seen at Dorrington in the sun.

All can be found here http://daviddawson.fotopic.net/c1554822.html :)

I had a strange hunch it would be you, I was the chap in a red shirt you passed on the footbridge. :) Did you manage a shot of the grid, or did you get total bodysnatcher bowlage?
