Avoiding Manchester peak saver restrictions

I need to make a return Leeds-Manchester journey, traveling out on the 0738 on Monday Morning. I am trying to resist TPE's AP, as committing to one train in a 15-minute headway service seems like committing to use a particular tube train two days in advance.

However, the peak restrictions into Manchester seem pretty watertight. On things like tickets through to the Airport, Eccles, other surrounding stations, or from northern stations north of Leeds, it gets consistently applied.

So, does anyone know of any loopholes to avoid requiring the SOR?

Thanks in advance.

Leeds to Chinley, according to NRT mileages:

Via Wakefield Westgate, Moorthorpe, Sheffield Midland: 38.75 + 25.5 = 64.25 miles
Via Dewsbury, Huddersfield, Manchester Piccadilly: 43.25 + 16.5 = 59.75 miles

Chinley used to cost more than Manchester, but TPE introduced restrictions on Savers (an act which was a means of evading the law against price increases) then re-naming them Off Peak, and introducing a higher priced Anytime. The Chinley Saver cost more but, correctly and fairly, became an Anytime.
