Good afternoon

I'm wondering if anyone could shed any light on what has happened to the vintage O gauge layout Babbacombe Junction.

I last saw the layout in operation in the basement of the Great Western Hotel in Paignton in the late 1990s. Both layout and hotel were owned by Mel Sherwood.

He then gave the railway to Babbacombe Model Village, but when I went there a few weeks ago the layout was no longer there. I sent an email enquiring as to what happened to the layout to the village's management and was told Mel's widow took the layout back and sold it on. They weren't sure where the layout now was.

Does anyone know whether it's still in operation, either open to the public or for private use, or whether it's been dismantled?
