I went for a walk in the country with a friend last weekend. On a country road about a mile out of Edenridge, we came across an old Georgian-looking mansion with what appeared to be a two-foot approx gauge railway. It started in the driveway and then curved out of sight.

Don't want to give the exact address to preserve the owner's privacy but does anyone know of such a thing in that area?

You might have a look at http://www.geograph.org.uk/browse.php?p=131550 which starts you off in Edenbridge. You can easily move to adjacent 1km squares of the OS mapping system to where you saw this railway and you may find a picture or two of it, perhaps with some information. But I can't guarantee anything!

Thanks for the tip, but no, don't seem to be any pics of it on that, or on Google Maps either..

OK - I thought it might be possible someone else had seen it and taken photos. Do let us know if you do find out anything!
