Let us have a minutes silence for the classrooms that the local delinquents must attend, their sad faces counteracted by the joyous faces of their parents who have frogmarched the kids to school.

Let us pray for the teachers in hope they regain some sanity for the end of term prizegiving.

Let us pray for the headteachers who, for another year, cannot use the cane.

Let us pray for the bus companys who have to transport the local yobs.

And finally let up hope the little idiots who hang round the streets with hundreds of knock off cigs get many ASBOs this year!

Indeed, no picking and choosing you had what you were given and you sat there until you had eaten it, any genuine dislike had to be confirmed by a note from parents.

Nowadays kids get what they want and we wonder why we have such an obesity problem:roll:

Twas the night before school started
when all through the town
the parents were cheering
it was a riotous sound.

By eight the kids were washed
and tucked into bed
when memories of homework
filled them with dread.

New pencils, new folders, new notebooks too,
new teachers, new friends, the anxiety grew.
The parents just giggled when they heard of this fright
and shouted upstairs-GO TO BED-IT'S A SCHOOL NIGHT!
