good result; http://www.southtpe.co.uk/pix/Barnetby/pict0031.html - camera coped well with the lighting; very effective except for the overexposed sky.

crap (being honest); http://www.southtpe.co.uk/pix/Barnetby/pict0055.html - look at all that noise; only to be expected given the poor lighting and trying to image a moving object.

Some of those images also show evidence of camera movement - something I see a lot of in my own shots!

Thanks for your comments, remember this is my first go so it'll get a bit of getting used to ;)

Re the crap 66 shot, I was messing around with the settings to see what I could get, it was 16:20 when I took that shot, so was pretty dark!

There's some nice stuff there...

I got the Fuji Finepix S6500fd for my birthday present at the weekend.... not had much time to play with it yet, or to look closely at the results for noise, etc.
