Barrier acceptance issue at Manchester Vic

    Yeah, forcing us to use TOC-specific dumbcards or battery-powered tickets subject to software failure outside of the passenger's control, but inside their legal liability... "Progress" I suppose.

    They won’t be TOC specific or I’ve wasted an awful lot of time and money

    Barcodes, duh...

    So VTEC gates will work, great. What about Northern's though?

    They will still look like cheap plexiglass tat, and will still cause massive queues while overworked gate attendants vary wildly between letting you through and accusing you of fraud. You can't really fix that with a software upgrade.

    Having been away for the last week I found D out today that this issue has been fixed.
