Basel and Lyon

If I was in Basel now I would probably focus heavily on the newly extended tram network, specially the international portions.

Sticking with Basel would I be right in saying Basel Pratteln and Basel Bad are locations in which Freight can be photographed with ease?
Equally a bit further out anything worth a look on the French side of Basel?

Most freight into Basel comes through Germany. I tend to stick with Pratteln but have been to Bad a couple of times. Bad has some German traction that doesn’t pass Basel SBB RB, whereas Pratteln has more local Swiss freight trains. Bad has some DB passenger trains whereas Pratteln has SBB loco-hauleds.
