If you're traveling down to the south west, keep your eyes peeled for a beached whale right by the railway between Dalwish Warren and Dalwish. I thought I'd gone mad at first!

It's being cut up and disposed of today after being washed up on Thursday.

The animal has been dead for some time, its carcass has been floating around the English Channel until conditions dragged it ashore.

Bit of extra ballast for the wall? Biggest hurricane for a decade being predicted across the pond, and we all know what happens to the tail-ends of these (oh, sorry, we don't all know. I forgot)
