Hi,

noticed this tour and wouldn't mind popping out to see it pass York this weekend, does anyone have any rough timings for when it's due in this area, both north and southbound? I'm thinking it won't stop at York station as the last pickup is Peterborough, so I might get it at Colton junction.

Also , it says DBS 67 or 90, any way of finding out what's allocated or will it be a last minute thing? Hoping it's a 90!

Cheers

I regret that I can't answer any of your questions - I'm no trainspotter. But there's two points that are odd about your post:-

The track to Beamish Museum from the mainline was lifted decades ago; and,
the nearest 'Saturday 18th' to now are in February gone and August coming.

I clearly meant the 19th, as I said this weekend. Thanks for the pedantic post though!!

Thanks Matt, hopefully someone can let me know before Saturday.
