I went under it from Charing Cross to Lewisham last night. Driver got to Lewisham so quick he had to stop at a signal as he was a few minutes early. :D Im pretty sure it will cut jouney times to London Bridge overall.

Dive under is quite steep. There's specific instructions for freight/engineering trains operating through it

That's what struck me when I travelled through the area a few weeks back: the gradients are pretty steep. Does anyone know what the various gradients are?
