Am in the process of booking two adult return tickets from Birmingham to London return. Outward on Sun 22 April (any time) and returning on Thurs 26 April dep after 19.30. At the minute the best return fare i can find is £40.00 total but this is travelling with London Midland thru Redspottedhankey. Really wanted to travel with Virgin or Chiltern to speed up the return time into Brum, but also need to keep the cost down. Any ideas......Is it maybe better to wait till nearer the date to see if more discounted fares go on offer!!!

You will see that at the moment they only go up to around the 15th April... so if you book the tickets around this time next week you should get the Advance fares (and maybe even the £5 Chiltern ones )
