Birmingham - Norwich

Hi

I'm looking for some fares advice if anyone can help get the cost of this journey down please:

Birmingham - Norwich leaving Birmingham after 15:45 on Fri 3 August
Norwich - Birmingham arriving Birmingham by 22:45 on Sun 5 August (in order to connect onto the 22:55 to Wolverhampton)

I have looked at splitting at Peterborough already, to get an off-peak return down from £76.00 (not via London) to £55.20 (£33.20 + £22.00), but would be grateful if anyone has any other ideas.

I have already looked at the following journey combinations for advances with no luck getting a combination under the above price, so I'm really looking at alternatives splits or other fares.

Highlighted in bold is the journey I will do if I split at Peterborough.

To a degree, as long as I leave after 15:45 Friday and arrive before 22:45 Sunday. I don't want to be getting into Norwich much after 9pm Friday though.
