I was travelling to London Euston Yesterday aboard a pendolino, and I noticed that at bletchely there are some quite large construction works going on including what looks like a new double track flyover.
Does anyone know what these works are about.

    Thanks :)

This will be part of the Bletchley remodelling project, you should be able to find out what you want from documents on the Network Rail site (just search for Bletchley Remodelling). It involves improved access to the WCML from the Bedford branch, resignalling and station improvements.

There's another thread about it already in this Infrastructure section here: http://www.railforums.co.uk/showthread.php?t=54485 and which includes the summary of the project.
