London-Newcastle Super Off Peak Return £141.70

Am I right that this is valid via Sheffield?

I want to have a Break of Journey on the outbound.

London-Sheffield Friday 1819
Sheffield-Newcastle Sunday time tbc

I can't get the journey planners to price it up on this train, but I think it's valid departing London after 1815?

Thanks in advance

The outward is valid at that time and for BoJ overnight.
Your problem is that you are wanting 2 nights in SHF.

Edit: two come along at once...

Yes, a ticket from London to Newcastle may be used via Sheffield. This is a Permitted Route.

National Rail has the full list of details, but in a nutshell, break of journey is valid, but only into the Saturday, and you can use this ticket on any train leaving St Pancras after 18:47 on a Friday.

That means the 19:04 from STP can be used.

As others mentioned, for clarity, all travel must be completed on the outward leg by 0429 on Day 3.
