It is being reported that Bombardier is cutting 270 "management and contractor" jobs at Derby.
This is part of global cutbacks following the sale of a 30% stake in the company to CDPQ in Canada, to fund the C-series jet programme.
The impact on aerospace in Belfast is much greater (up to 1000 jobs).

Not a happy company.Bombardier will also cut 270 management and contractor jobs at its trains business in the UK. The UK rail business employs 3,500 people
