No, West Coast Motors, Glasgow Citybus, City Sightseeing Glasgow and Kintyre Express are all trading names (brands if you wish) of Craig of Campbeltown Ltd. Fairline Coaches Ltd is a subsidiary which now trades as Scotline Tours, the other active subsidiary being Borders Buses Ltd which is simply the renamed Perrymans Buses Ltd.Fairline/Scotline are part of Borders, City Sightseeing is part of Glasgow Citybus etc. Those are all really just brands rather than separate parts of the company.
Because they are contracted to run it?
Yes , i appreciate that . But why them and not Stagecoach
Yes , i appreciate that . But why them and not Stagecoach
Stagecoach only own 35% of Citylink, additionally the CMA wouldn't at all by happy if Stagecoach ran AIR. There's already been issues in the past with the 900, hence why Parks operate many journeys.
Why not just give West Coast Motors and Glasgow Citybus it's own thread and rename this one Borders Buses.PM1121403/11 Registered

PROPOSALS to cut bus services in Hawick will be on the table at meetings this month.
The H1 and H2 town services are due to have timetable changes from Monday, May 18 with a reduction in the evening buses.
The X95 between Hawick and Carlisle will also be reduced with the 6.05pm and 8.25pm on weekdays being withdrawn from Friday, May 15.
The 9.05pm and 10.55pm Friday-only services will be also be axed.
And the frequency of the X95 on Sunday is due to be reduced from four journeys to three.
Although the 910 service between Hawick and Bonchester Bridge won't be affected this month, transport bosses have confirmed that the route will remain under review.
Your Bus Matters events are being held at Burnfoot Community Hub on Monday, March 16 and at Denholm Village Hall the following day, both from 10am to 3pm.
The drop-in sessions will be run by Bus Users Scotland and Scottish Borders Council to give passengers the opportunity to discuss the changes as well as the potential to create community-led transport projects.
Councillor Gordon Edgar, spokesman for Roads and Infrastructure, said: “We have already carried out extensive consultation with this review, with the two Your Bus Matters events at Burnfoot and Denholm another opportunity for communities in Teviot and Liddesdale to discuss local bus services.
“Despite the low usage on the bus services identified as part of the review, we know they can still be seen as vital links which is why we have proposed alternative services where possible and are keen to support community-led transport projects.”
The cuts are part of a review which looked at a number of local bus services.
To give your opinion on the changes email [email protected] by Friday, March 20.

We recognise bus is for many in our communities the only way to access shops for food, prescriptions and other essentials. It also provides a key service for critical and essential workers. With this in mind we are working in partnership with Scottish Borders Council and other bus operators to deliver a demand response bus service.
Demand response service and NHS staff journeys
The demand response service will be an emergency bus service for those customers who have no alternative than to leave the home to visit the shop for essentials – food/prescriptions and attending or going to work at Borders General Hospital or local care homes.
The service will be available in Galashiels, Kelso, Peebles, Selkirk, Jedburgh, Duns, Newcastleton, Hawick and possibly, at a later date, Berwick.
In addition, specific journeys will be provided for key works and NHS staff traveling to the BGH.
This is a new service provision and we are currently working with all involved and will provide details of how this service will operate and how you can access it. More details will follow later today. Please be patient, when confirmed we will get this info to you.
Safety remains our number one priority and we urge all customers to listen to the government’s extremely important instruction and only travel if essential.
That's a new one no69?
It's not, it's an existing service.
What did the 69 do before covid19? I can not remember it
It's a Sunday service over the Galashiels - Tweedbank - BGH - Melrose section of the X62.
